VOLUNTEER AS A HOUSEKEEPER
Are you the type of person that just HAS to
tidy everything a little or a lot? 🥰💪Are you usually able to see what needs to be done in a household, value cleanliness and are the one to ask a host " Hey, what can I help you with?"
Help our team to keep the volunteer base station neat and clean.
Your role is to help our local main staff with housekeeping, which includes
daily cleaning, swiping, doing dishes -NOT the cooking - but cleanig the tables, asisting in keeping floors, surfaces, bathrooms, shared spaces and tools clean.
In a team with Christina you're gonna learn how to take care of our beloved home of the groups.
While your Stay
Get to know the wildlife rescue center, botanical hummingbird garden, indegenous community and the magical amazon rainforest as you help the local housekeepers to make the volunteers' base a warm and welcoming, clean and tidy home base to feel safe and sound.
THE PLACE
The volunteer home is the place where our international teams rest and live when they are off their own work, which is helping in the close wildlife sanctuary, reforestation projects and indigenous kids school.
YOUR DAYS
Your will share a BIG part of your time with them as well, but also, you need to have a strong sense of self and no easily triggered FOMO (fear of missing out) as the wildlife volunteers will have different tasks, locations, happenings and work hours as you, Christina and the cook.
YOUR ADVENTURE
Nevertheless 💕, also in Your housekeeping position, we take you to many of the adventures and excursions with everyone. You will of course, also get to know the wildlife sanctuary and indegenois community as a visit, and then return to the work at the accomodation with Chris, while the others start cleaning or repairing the animal spaces or go harvest bananas for example.
The significantly lower fee and your discount is possible because you are within the local core team working alongside our OWN everyday tasks to make the wildlife and conservation volunteer teams stay smooth and take work off the shoulders from our Chris, who starts to have a harder time with her health, tackling all the tasks like moving a bed, or lifitng a matres, brooming for long makes her joints hurt as she starts to struggle using hands for a longer time for example.

ALL INCLUSIVE

130 peruvian soles per day instead of the usual 250 INCLUDING taxes already
